|Track Out, Day Camps and
All 2014 dates below!
We stir up a ton of fun at camps with activities designed for
ages 5 to 12. From food science to cooking & learning
about nutrition, we have a blast!
|As parents, we look for educational opportunities to delight their senses and stretch their
imaginations... As kids, we look for programs that are FUN! Bring your Lil' Chef over and you'll
pick up a newly self-confident child who will beg to cook dinner for you! Your Lil' Chef will create his or her own snacks and lunch and we'll supply
everything that he or she will need for an amazing week or day filled with newly developed life-long skills including math, science, reading and chemistry!
|PRICING AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Regular Camp Hours: 8:30 am to 4 pm. Extended hours are available, beginning at 8 am and ending as late
as 5 pm for an additional fee. Please see below for the late or early drop off charge.
Full Week Summer Camps and Track Out Camp Tuition: Tuition is $299/Week. Includes all supplies,
ingredients, lunch, morning & afternoon snacks and a recipe booklet to take home at the end of the week. The
only item your child needs to bring with him or her is a water bottle.
Single Day Camps/Teacher Workday Camp Tuition: Please see schedule for single day camps that are
offered. We do not offer single day camps during the summer months. Tuition is $84 and includes all supplies,
ingredients, lunch, morning & afternoon snacks and a recipe booklet to take home at the end of the day. We
offer early care beginning at 8 am for an additional $5, and late pick up as late as 5 pm for an additional $5.
Tuition for single day camps is non-refundable and must be used for the date registered, but if your child is
unable to attend, a friend may attend in your child's place. If the camp is sold out and we can fill your child's
space, we can issue you a refund under these circumstances.
Early Drop Off (8 am) and Late Pick Up for Full Day Camp (By 5 pm)
$25 each for the week ($25 for early drop off and $25 for late pick up). We do not offer individual days for early
drop off or late pick up for our week long camps.
Track Out Camp Refund/Changes and Balances Due Policies (September to May):
Between the months of September and May, we require a 50% deposit for Track Out Camps at time of
reservation. For Track Out camps, the remaining 50% will be charged to the card we have on file for you the
first day of camp or you are welcome to pay cash. You are welcome to pay in full at time of reservation. Please
note that we can only hold your child's space in our program upon receiving payment. For camps the months of
September - May, if you need to cancel, we will refund your tuition payment if you notify us 30 days or more
before the first day of camp, less a $40 fee. We do not allow any changes within 30 days of the camp start date,
and we cannot issues any refunds within 30 days of the first day of camp. If your child cannot attend, a friend
my attend in your child's place.
Summer Camp Refund/Changes Policies (June through August): For Summer Camps, a 50% deposit is
required at time of reservation until April 15th. After April 15th, the balance is due in full at time of reservation.
You are welcome to pay in full. If you choose to pay 50% at time of reservation, we will charge the remaining
balance due to the card you used for the deposit on April 14, 2014. If you need to make changes to your camp
registration after you have paid the deposit or paid in full and it is prior to April 14th, you may move your
reservation to a different week at no charge, or you may cancel and receive a full refund less a $40 service fee.
We must receive written notice that you wish to change or cancel your reservation. We do not allow any
changes to summer camp registrations after April 15th (no changes and no refunds). Please understand that
we cannot make any exceptions to this rule in fairness to all of our customers.
Inclement Weather Policy: Should we need to cancel a camp for an entire day due to weather, or if your child
must attend their regular school day in order to make up a snow day, we will extend a Lil' Chef credit to you to
be used towards the tuition for the one day for another camp. We are sorry that we cannot offer refunds for
days that a child cannot attend camp due to illness or any other reasons for which camp is held, or for partial
days that he or she may have missed, as our camps often are completely full. Registering for a camp will
indicate that you understand and agree to this policy and our other policies listed here.
Age: Your child must be at least a rising Kindergartner and the age of 5 to attend our camps. We have
separate groups during Summer Camps and large track out camps based upon age. Generally, ages 5 to 8 are
in one kitchen and ages 9 to 12 are in a separate kitchen during all Summer Camps. Our curriculum has been
designed for children up to age 12. We often let our older children help and assist our younger campers with
art and craft projects.
NEW: Summer Camp Jr. Counselors: Each week of summer camp, we will have 4 Jr. Counselors (children
that are ages 12 and 13). Our Jr. Counselors will help and assist our instructors with camp and have a glimpse
of "behind the scenes" of running and operating a small business. They will still participate in all cooking
activities, but will have extra duties assigned to them. Extra duties will include prep work for camp, assisting our
instructors as needed, helping our Studio Manager with daily Lil' Chef office tasks, and other activities. Camp
tuition is the same as outlined above. If your child is interested in being a Jr. Counselor, please call us at
919-889-2598 so we can set up an "interview" with your child to be sure that it would be a good fit for your child
and our staff.

We will contact you with 48 hours for payment and to confirm your child's registration. If you are a current customer of ours and we
have your credit card securely on file, we'll email you a receipt after using the card on file. If you would prefer that we use a different
credit card, please call us at 919-889-2598.
Registering below for camp indicates that you understand and agree to our camp policies listed above.

|What do we do at camp all day? Here's a sample of our schedule! It does vary daily,
but we strive to meet all of these objectives daily.
8:30 – 9 am: Arrive at Camp Yummy!
9 – 9:45 am: Food Science Experiment
9:45 – 12 pm: Hands on Cooking and experiments in the Studio: Morning Snack & Lunch
12 – 12:30 pm: Lunch/Free Time/Centers/Afternoon Program Begins
12:30 – 1 pm: Hi 5 Fitness and Nutrition: Let’s get moving in the right direction
1:00 – 1:30 pm: Recipe makeovers, etiquette or DEAR time (drop everything and read)
1:30 pm – 2 pm: Arts/Crafts designed to fit various age groups
2- 3:30 pm: Hands on Cooking Activities in the Studio: Afternoon Snack based on weekly theme
3:30 – 4 pm: Clean Up/Prepare for the next day
4 pm: Parent Pick Up or After Camp Care Program begins
|Boys Love Our Camps too!
We are often asked by parents if we have boys in
our camps. We do and we keep the program
moving along each day with a change in activities
about every 20 - 30 minutes
|Food Science and Art
These two important culinary concepts are also
part of our daily tasks. We learn how to take
ordinary food and things found at home and
turn them into edible art!
|Teamwork and Small Groups
Our Lil' Chefs work in groups of no more than
8 per instructor to learn teamwork and
collaboration with others. They learn a lot
from one another and build long lasting
|Food Art & Chemistry
Our Boy Chefs here are painting with pudding! We
also make lots of different types of doughs and paints
throughout the week. Arts and craft projects are
based upon the age of the child.
|Hands On Discovery
Children best learn from hands on self discovery...
whether it's play or work. We combine both in our camp
program. We get messy sometimes, but that's how our Lil'
Chefs learn best!
